The Boorborstel has been developed to brush potting soil out of the pot and clean the edge of the pot. The Boorborstel is suitable for both round and square pots. The dimensions of the drill brush can be adjusted to the wishes of the customer.
The Boorborstel works with a conical plug (plug size). With this conical plug a hole is drilled in the potting soil, until the potting soil touches the pressure plate of the Boorborstel. At that moment, the speed of the conical plug drops, but the shaft continues to rotate with the brush so that excess material is removed and the edge is brushed clean.
You can choose to drill extra deep, in which case you can fill the pot with for example bark. If no scattering agent is used, the drill is adjusted to be slightly higher so that the top of the pot is nicely brushed clean.
